Review summary

Overall we had a great experience on the Carnival Fantasy cruise. There was always something to do for every age group. The entire "fun crew" on the ship was always upbeat, energetic, fun, engaging and kept things lively.

We had never been out of the port of Mobile. The downtown area was surprising. Would like to go back and just visit.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

The port itself was fine. The city area gave the appearance of being impoverished. We did take an excursion to visit the Mayan ruins, which was educational.

The port of Cozumel is definitely more commercialized when compared to Progreso. We had a VIP Dolphin excursion, which was well worth the cost. We were taken care of very well.
