Review summary
1. Cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff on the Fantasy ship. Genuine smiles and caring all around.
2. I would like to especially thank our Cabin Steward - Chanti (I hope I spelled his name properly). We did not see him before we left the ship to thank him face to face. I hope he will hear how much we appreciated him.
3. We only had one issue, and that was when I sprained my ankle on an excursion and had to use a wheelchair on the ship.
+ Moving around the ship was not as easy as it could have been due to people not wanting to let the wheelchair move through the food line.
+ A lack of common courtesy from the other cruisers when I was in the wheelchair.
+ The process of disembarkation for people in wheelchairs could have been better though. It seemed the crew member handling our landing was more interested in talking to his co-crew members about what he wanted to buy at home port than making sure the wheelchair bound cruisers (there were several) were handled promptly.
** The crew members during the cruise were very helpful to my husband and me as we moved about the ship.
** Once we were on land the port crew member who wheeled us to security, the luggage area, and then to our vehicle was fantastic. His name was Trey (again I hope my spelling is correct). He was confident, attentive, and understanding.
Would we cruise on the Fantasy again? Yes! We are looking forward to more cruises with Carnival.

Ship tip
Bring tape if you want to decorate your cabin door. DO decorate your door as it makes it easier to see which is your cabin. As the ship leaves (the port) go to the open forward deck and watch the process. Amazing. Take lots of photos. You can always delete afterward Take a Yeti cup
