Review summary

Being able to rest and relax was my favorite part. You can choose when to eat, sleep and participate in activities. There were several things going on at the same time so we had to make a choice at times and miss something we would have liked to do. There was a comedy act but it was in a small room. We tried to see the show a couple of different times and the seats were always filled, so we didn't get to see the show.

The wait staff was not as friendly or interactive as I have experienced on past cruises and the service was slow at best. There were many times that we sat waiting for our waiter to even come to our table to greet us. And there were many times that we waited between courses for 15-20 minutes with no interaction from the wait staff. I have not experienced this on past cruises, so I was disappointed.

Most of the food we had was good. Some was very good. I had fish one night and it was overcooked. The prime rib was very good as was the chocolate melting cake-we had that several nights. The desserts on the Lido deck were not very good.

We enjoyed several of the shows and activities. We were disappointed that the comedy show was filled to capacity on the multiple times we tried to attend.

We enjoyed several of the shows and activities. We watched several of the acts in the Atrium and enjoyed them.

No one really stood out. The cabin steward was always on the spot on spoke when we happen to see him. The wait staff in the dining room was slow at best and not as friendly and interactive as past experiences. Waiters on deck were visible and offered to get us a drink but none stood out as being friendly and interactive.

The ship was very nice and exactly what we expected.

The cabin was what we expected and was cleaned regularly. Most of the time we did not see our steward but when we did he was friendly enough and always spoke.

Ship tip

Buy the faster to fun pass. It reduces the wait time tremendously.
