Review summary
Our favorite part of the cruise was dinner in the main dining area. The food was really good, but what made the experience so exceptional was the fast, efficient, and CHEERFUL dining room staff-thanks Joel. We especially appreciated Maitre d Maten, who visited our table at least once each night, checking on our needs and getting to know us. His hard work set an example for his entire staff. Of course, one of our real pleasures was the beautiful music provided by the singing waiter.
Mikey, the Entertainment Director, was a wonder with endless energy and enthusiasm. We so enjoyed the last night performance-such talented singers- in the Universe Lounge and the nightly singing events in the Atrium led by Mikey--so much fun; however, we needed a little more seating. It would have been nice to have had one more big musical production at night,
Improvements: Based on experiences from many cruises, we recommend more activities during the days at sea; another big musical at night; don't schedule the PG comedy at the same time as the musical performance; and add more wall shelving in the bathrooms.
