Review summary
We have taken quite a few cruises with carnival, and in comparison, this boat is older which gives it issues with having an a/c system that doesn't really ever cool you off. We were in one of the suites on the top of the ship, and you would think paying over $2500 for 5 nights we would stay cool, but nope. It stayed 80 degrees in our room and that was with a fan that we had to run the entire time. We were miserable, temperature wise. You can tell by looking inside the ship it just looks dated. They preached the entire cruise about shopping, which is very boring if you don't want to shop. The dinner staff was very slow. There was only 2 of us and it would take 1 1/2 hours each night for dinner, and the food was mediocre at best (compared to the other ships). This is not a horrible cruise, but is just not up to expectations with the other cruises with carnival.
