Great Cruise

Sail Date: June 04, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Ship was great, vacation is what you make it, although this ship needs a lot of attention and upkeep.

Pros: Entertainment

Cons: How problems were handled by cruise staff in dining room

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Entertainment
Entertainment was great, best comedians I've ever seen. Although, shows by dancers could be changed. I've been on many Carnival cruises in the past 8 years and show is the same. Not a plus for cruisers who enjoy the shows and want to continue cruising with Carnival.
Service and Staff
Staff was excellent, willing to help.
Food and Dining
food was excellent, loved the Baked Alaska. Dining arrangements handled poorly by Matre Di.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was not very clean. Have cruised a lot and this room was not the cleanest. Also, needed to request a hair dryer, have always had one available in all other Carnival cruise ships.
Ship Quality
A lot of rust and places where attention to details have been clearly missed.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
great time, enjoyed the day, on the beach. So relaxing.
Grand Turk Island
very expensive, not much time to do anything.
