Review summary

Great getaway weekend cruise to Nassau and Half Moon Cay. The Fantasy was spotless thanks to the hardest working crew I have ever seen. The Las Vegas type shows were excellent. Stateroom was fine. Several guests who had balcony rooms commented that they were huge and more than worth the money. Day at Half Moon Cay was really fun. Crew did a great job with the lunch there, and the entertainment was excellent. Two negatives: quality of food at the buffet was not very good. On other hand, dining room was excellent so try to eat all your meals there. Hamburger grill for lunch also excellent. Second negative: many passengers looked like they had just finished their Saturday chores and were somehow transported to the deck of the ship. Come on guys, we can all do a little better than that, especially when the crew is working like dogs to give us 5 star service.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Don't waste your money on food in Nassau. Expensive and not good. Eat on the ship. If you aren't into shopping, definitely take an excursion here because there is not much to do in this port.
Don't Miss: Atlantis is worth seeing

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Great day at a beautiful beach. If you take your own snorkel equipment, you don't have to rent it.
Don't Miss: Snorkel trip: sign up early when you get on the ship because it will sell out

Pros: Ship was spotless, crew was extremely pleasant and hardworking

Cons: Passengers were a bit grungy, especially at dinner the first night: food at buffet was not first rate
