Review summary

We sailed on the Carnival Fantasy, a five day cruise leaving out of Port Canaveral. What a perfect itinerary! We sailed on Saturday, and returned on Thursday. The ship was clean, the food was scrumptious, the staff was very friendly. My favorite port was Half Moon Cay...a private island. Absolute paradise! Grand Turk was a new island for us. Carnival makes it convenient to enjoy this island without buying an expensive tour. They built a huge pool beachside for all to enjoy, which is surrounded by wondering shops. It was one of our best Carnival cruises ever! We will go again!

Ports of call

Grand Turk Island

Loved the gigantic pool beachside that Carnival built for the cruise guests. Convenient to shops. Island people were very friendly.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Absolute paradise. Don't waste your money on snorkel equipement here. $16 per set.....nothing to see under water..much to see above. We loved this place. Didn't want to get back on the ship!

Nassau, Bahamas

Too busy of a hustle bustle city for my liking. I'll stay on the ship the next time.

Pros: No lines at elevators or buffets

Cons: nothing
