Review summary

The Cruise Director was MIA most of the time. He was not interactive on the Lido Deck at all. I was not impressed with the Cruise Director. The overall entertainment was pitiful. However, I did Enjoy the Rock and Roll Performance put on by the Dancers; this was the best part of the cruise.

food and drinks were good. nothing to run home and tell everyone about, but good.

Pool was okay. Except one day, it was as green as green can be. looked very nasty.

the BEST entertainment were the Dancers. They were only able to put on 1 show due to our shortened Cruise (due to Hurricane Helene), but they were absolutely awesome!!!

most areas were clean. 1 atrium elevator was broken down.

we only had HOT (I mean VERY HOT) water. our air conditioner did not work the bed was not comfortable, and could feel the springs in your back.

Ship tip

If you like small ships, no visibility of a CD, no entertainment, this is the ship for you.

We were on the next sailing and our beds were new. There were also about 100 new mattress being loaded when we got off.

I sailed in Elation in September and the bed was horrible. I’ve been on many Carnival Cruises and never had issues. It took 3 days of the 5 day cruise to get another mattress. It had a hole literally where your butt was on the bed. The ship needs to invest in new mattresses. Other than that issue it was a great ship.
