Though we had engine trouble, we had a very good cruise. It was my mom and my aunt's first cruise and they had a very good time. They did and tried things they have never got to experience before and I am very thankful for that.

Felt like I was being herded. They shouted alot at my mother because she was having trouble and then all her drinks fell and busted open. She felt way too rushed

The food was very good. The selection was great. Mainly went to the main dining room. Guys burger was awesome as well as the blue iguana. Didn't like the buffet offering as much as the other stuff. But the cakes at the buffet were freaking good.

I liked the comedy shows, bingo, and the music on deck. Had fun with the mini golf. Great times

Room steward Willie was awesome. I could see a bunch of younger passengers loved him and ran up to hug him as they were leaving

The ship was very clean and they were constantly cleaning. The layout is perfect since I have cruised 5 out of 7 times on a fantasy class ship. The only thing that makes the review have less stars is our cabin. The door would not lock after you open it. You have to jiggle with the handle for a bit before it would lock.

When you unlock the door, you had to jiggle the handle for a bit till you could make it lock. Very spacious and very clean. Thanks to our awesome room steward willie
Ship tip
It is having engine problems right now, but we went on our first cruise on the elation and still had a great time on this one. However they need to send her to dry dock until they get the engine issue worked out. Don't count her out yet. Some of the best workers are on this ship.
We walked to junkanoo Beach, payed for 3 chairs and had a great time. Had three daiquiris that were very good. It sprinkled on the way to the beach, but once there, the sun came out and it ended up being a beautiful day. Started walking back and this nice gentleman asked if we wanted some authentic bahamian food and took us to the captain's deck. We had a free shot, then conch fritters and some of the best peach lemonade I have ever had. Then made it back to the ship with plenty of time.
I'm super happy you all had a good time. I've been on that ship before.
A friend of mine is going on that ship in a few days from now. I hope you have continued good journeys together ❤️.
