Review summary

I give everything good to very good marks however the elevator situation was unacceptable to us. We have 2 more Carnival cruises planned in the next few months. IF WE RUN INTO A SIMILAR ELEVATOR PROBLEM ON THESE NEXT 2 CRUISES WITH CARNIVAL WE WILL TRY ANOTHER CRUISE LINE.

Be prepared to walk stairs. 2 or 3 elevators down the entire cruise and no signs of anyone working on them either! That was a disappointment

It stinks when things break. Elevators are one of those things you don’t want just any “on the job” trained maintenance guy working on. I’m sure they need a repairman specializing in elevators with specific certifications. Even if a smaller ship kept that kind of workers on staff, they likely wouldn’t have all the parts needed to do major repairs at sea… I try to use the stairs and leave the elevators to those who can’t physically climb stairs until I someday join that physically impaired group myself.
