Review summary

This is my third cruise, my second and last with Carnival. Carnival cancelled our pre paid shore excusrion with less than 18 hours notce, and refinded me via a ship board cresit. Carnival could not say, as to why the excurion was cancelled, and I specifically asked client servces to refund that money back to my credit card, which they never did. I have been off the crusie three days now, and the money has still not ben refunded to my credit card. The staff is hit or miss, some staff are very hospitable, others look miserable. The buffett is sub par, stick to Guy's, the pizza bar or Blue Iguana for food. But I would advise booking a cruise with Noreweigan instead.

Arrive early, even if your itenerary says to not arrive early. You will be in line at least a hour and a hald to two hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Food in buffett was on par with school cafeteria foo,d. You are best to stick to Guy's Burger joint, The Blue Iguana burrito bar, or the pizza bar. Make sure to purchase a Coke card, because water and anything made with ship's water taste horrible. The coffe bar that you have to pay extra for is a joke also, with Starbuck prices, and less than gas station quality coffee.

Onboard Activities

Pretty much the equivelnt of scool activites.

Service and Staff

Housekeeping was super nice and on top of keeping the rooms cleans. Client services, are short with you and very unhelpfull. We had a on shore excusrsion that was cancelled less than 18 hours from the start, and all client services could offer was 10% off the next best excursion, which was $200.00 more. All other excursions for what we had already paid for, were old out by this time.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a pary of five, and they shoved us in a romm that would have been comfortable for two people. One main bed, two bunk beds, and they brought a COT in for my sixty year old disabled mother in law to sleep on.

Ship tip

Don't do it.
