Review summary

Thus was our 1st cruise so nothing to compare it to, but it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be cruising more often.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The port was really crowded and hot but the lines moved quickly. I don't think anyone paid attention to the times we were assigned.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
I wish they had one more alternative such as fruit punch. The lemonade and iced tea were ok, but the iced tea was really watered down. The food was pretty good overall. Especially guy's burgers and the blue iguana cantina. The buffet food tended to be cold. The imagination dining room was really nice. We chose not to do specialty dining.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There were some pretty nice shows and activities but the times tended to over lap

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ship entetertainment staff were very talented

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Loved Yuli our cabin attendant. Everyone else was very professional and pleasant.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For an older ship I found it to be well maintained. I actually saw staff scrubbing the bar stools with toothbrushes! All of the common area bathrooms and eating areas were clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our room was very tight but comfortable. We had a family of five. There was good storage and ample hooks to hang wet swim suits, but I was not able to use the magnet hooks because the cabin walls were not 100% metal so they didn't adhere as well.

Ship tip

For a smaller older ship it is really a lot of fun.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

3 out of 5
We only boarded here, it was hot and crowded. The staff were friendly and professional

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Hot, too many vendors trying to haggle at the straw market. Excursions were overpriced

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
The beach was very rocky but gorgeous and peaceful. I could've stayed there 3 days! The clamshell was a waste. We spent the entire time in the water. The lunch BBQ ended too early (1:30pm).

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Lines were too long even though we followed the time we were given.
