Review summary

Over all I will not sail Carnival ever again. The good parts were the excursions and getting off the boat. Getting back on at ports was frustrating. The people attending the check in points were needlessly rude to everyone. Making sarcastic remarks to an elderly couple and a younger couple in front of them for not understanding what they said. Even worse to a foreign couple behind us who was a different culture entirely and had a hard time understanding. Seems to me they don’t like their job.

Embarkation

Easy on quick, friendly service.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Dining room was overly cramped. Half of our table didn’t show up the rest of the week bc the food was so bad they said. The buffet was just as gross. Kids running everywhere and rude. Had it not been for the taco/burrito bar and pizzas this would not have had 3 stars.

Onboard Activities

Bingo…..seriously over priced and then bam it’s over in like 5 calls. Tried to sit at a bar and enjoy a drink and the bar tender complained about how she had to share tips with other bars and she was the busiest. BTW, I don’t blame her but we had to sit there for like 10 mins listening to her talk about this to another guest. Then she couldn’t pay attention to who was next and bothered walked up. It’s like we weren’t even there until we waived her down. Tipped her well of course but come on. The 3 Stars were the Chefs Dinner. I would recommend all day long but forget being able to do anything on sailing days unless you are ready to be rude and show up hours early for a 5 minute event. They real need better activities on the At Sea Days and more of them. Not enough.

Entertainment

Watched one show and it was fabulous.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

These people work way to hard for the jerks all over the boat with no patience.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It’s an old boat so room for improvement. Felt like I had to walk the green mile to get anywhere but it was fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great storage and space for 3 adults. Bathroom always smelled of sewage but could have been worse if our attendant didn’t clean it everyday. Old ship so I get it.

Ship tip

If you don’t want to be around kids and hate At Sea Days then I would not do this sailing.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

No excursion but the port was nice and easy to navigate to.

Bimini, Bahamas

The island beautiful, It took us entirely too long to get going on our excursion. Not Carnivals fault the girl running the excursion was a ding bat

Nassau, Bahamas

The Segway Excursion on Blue Lagoon Island was great. The way they pack entirely too many people in a small space, work the lunch line and ticket booth is just nuts. I’m good with a large crowd but those boats were not stop bringing people in. Getting on the boat to get back to Nassau was a joke. Be in line by this time! They warned and scolded. So everyone was. Just to have to stand there for almost 35-40 mins. Get it together!

Horrid! We paid for Faster to the fun. We told we had to go up to the next deck to wait. Saw people getting off the boat as the NEVER CALLED them. So we went back down to check and they were oh yeah you didn’t need to go up there. Get it together!
