Review summary

We originally picked this cruise because if fit into the schedule I could get off for work. It was shorted than we have done in the past but we were excited to get back on a boat after 3 long years. The weather was perfect and each of the 2 stops were amazing. We wish the cruise were longer but we had a great time, the weather at that time of year was perfect. Low to mid 80's with pure sun!

Embarkation

Very short wait period. The smoothest check in we've ever had.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Seemed as though the portions were a bit smaller than last cruise (3 years ago). Everything we had was excellent tasting!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not alot to do on the ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We went to 1 show but enjoyed the bands playing at the bars.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room Steward was excellent, very friendly. We seemed to be a bother to some of the dining room wait staff when asked for a paper menu instead of scanning URL with a phone.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Clean as usual. Someone was always wiping something down everywhere we went.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Perfect size for 2. More than 2 it would be crowded.

Ship tip

Be prepared to use your phone alot. Dining room check-in, ship layout etc.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

Went to the beach. It was ok but not as beautiful as Bahama water.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Dead man's Reef is a must see. We saw sea turtles, barracuda, all kinds of colorful fish, stingrays. Definitely one of the best places I have ever visited.

Bimini, Bahamas

The water was a little choppy, so snorkeling was tough. But one of the most beautiful places I have ever experiences. Perfect water temperature. We did try to get a bite to eat at the public "snack shop" and I wouldn't buy anything there again. When my husband went to pay the price on the menu, the lady chuckled and said that isn't the right price, she charged us almost double and it took forever to get the food. I believe they knew we were tourists and charged accordingly.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth as glass. Either Carnival has upped their game or Jacksonville has it down to a science.
