Food was mediocre at best! We had to wait over an hour after we sat down to get our breakfast and drinks when the dining room was basically empty. There were only 3 menu items we enjoyed.

The pool was very small for the size of the ship, and kids were allowed to run crazy at the water slides.

Shows were corny and not very exciting. The comedian was not very good either.

The fridge did not work, and the bed was supposed to be a king bed, but was town twins pushed together. They were constantly coming apart. The music channel only worked half the time.

Ship tip

Choose a newer carnival ship. Everyone told us this is not a normal cruise experience. As our first one though, we never want to go on one again.

Only beach at this location. Water was very rocky and there were not a lot of good swim areas.

Process for disembarking the ship is horrendous. It took 3 hrs to disembark the ship.

Try a newer ship, itineraries of seven days or longer and cruising while schools are in session for a much better experience

Sorry you had a bad experience! If you’re looking for a quieter, more adult atmosphere and great food, try Celebrity. Even their smaller and older ships are beautiful and the service is amazing.
