Review summary

Had four cancellations in the last two years. It was wonderful getting back on the water. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would add photos but it’s only allowing for one to be attached. I can’t get back to my album.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We use GoPort to get to the ship and the process was seamless. Arrived at our check in time 10:30-11:00 and we were boarded within 10 minutes.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Spent time in Casino. First night was tight. We eventually won most of our money back on last day. A few nice jackpots too. Cruise line stopped all smoking by the second day due to new Covid Variant. Not an issue for me. Cruise Director was non existent. Didn’t see any shows, but heard they were as good as usual.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room Stuart was great. All staff constantly cleaning the ship. Bartenders were fast. Although, ship was not a full capacity which made for speedy service.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean. Ship is definitely showing its age but, that does not affect my trip at all. Small ship very easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
This cabin was a junior suite. Although, really a standard balcony as this ship is an older one. The balcony however was very narrow. I would not recommend for larger sized people. Room itself was nice. Had a mini fridge and room safe. The safe was locked from previous user so we had to call maintenance. It was opened within an hour. We did not have to wait for them to come which was nice.

Ship tip

Don’t expect to have all the bells and whistles of the larger ships. This ship was great for us and had no real issues.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We have been here often. We typically take bus #10 to the Ba Ha Mar casino. We ended up coming out ahead!! New port has very long pier. May be difficult to walk for those with a disability. There were no hawkers waiting at the entry as in the past.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
First time at this port. The beach was nice. The lunch was actually quite good. Found some nice shells for my collection. Tried snorkeling but just too many people kicking up silt or me. Lol

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Due to an late flight we waited until last call. The new system was great. One tip for debarkation, I recommend a passport. The line for those with just a license was very long. We sailed right through DHS with no with no wait.
