Review summary

It was okay, lots of miscommunication from carnival employees when we called before getting to the port and once we got to the port. It almost seemed like we were speaking to two completely different companies.

Food and Dining

Dinning room for breakfast in the imagination dining room the hostess was not friendly. We cruised in a large family for a reason and every morning we went to breakfast she would split us up when clearly you can see the open seating. It got to a point to where we waiting an hour before we got our food after being seated. We were told it's because our group is large and that's why we shouldn't sit together. Unreal.

Onboard Activities

Only one pool for adults and none for the teenagers/kiddies. Only water event was the slide.

Entertainment

When it was announced that a party was on the Lido deck it seemed very disorganized and or started late. The performance in the mikado lounge was great.

He didn't want to enter after he saw what it was. Very small space and minimal toys/activities so we didn't use it at all.

Service and Staff

Every night I had to call to have the bunks unlocked after the 3rd night I shared my feedback with guest services and I was told that because I selected a morning cleaning service the steward could not enter my room again- who knew? The supervisor at guest services said he gave me two drinks complimentary for the inconvenience but when I went to use it the bar tender said nothing was placed on my card so yeah very unpleasant. I didn't have the time or patience to go back to guest services at this point because two drinks couldn't make up for the type of service we received on this trip.

For a party of 4- this room was smaller for a Balcony room for 4- I had my parents and my son to where I had to get on a bunk which was challenging for me with a bad knee but we made it work. I would not cruise on this ship again or recommend it to anyone.
