Review summary

Celebrated my husbands 50th birthday and two teenage kids first cruise. Was not able to get off the boat for 4 days. Seas were very rough the first two days. Paid for Amber Cove and Grand Turk and ended up going to Nassau on the day before debarkation. People were restless and aggravated that we had been at sea for 4 days straight. Ship refunded $100 pp; however, we paid a good amount of money for 4 people. I’m sure what we paid for Amber cove and Grand Turk was wayyy more than what it would have cost to go to Nassau. Customer service basically told me “too bad, so sad; that’s why we get a contract”. Never again!!!!!! This ship needs to RETIRE!!

Just okay

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

After spending all 5 nights at sea the food started tasting nasty

Onboard Activities

Kept clean and safe

Entertainment

Wonderful singers and talented comedians. The comedians clowned on us the whole show for not being able to get off at any of our ports of call. We were stuck at sea for 4 days straight.

Service and Staff

Our room steward Peter was awesome! Some of the personnel in the shops picked and chooses who they wanted to help. I politely took my money to another shop to purchase items.

Balcony room. Loved the view. Decent for 2 adults.

Ship tip

Book another ship ASAP!! Old ship. The engine blew out on the way to our first port of call so we didn’t get to visit that island. Winds were to high to dock at the second port of call so we ended up spending 4 days at sea before we were finally able to get off on Nassau which was not one of our port of calls. I’ve already been to Nassau and didn’t pay triple the amount to go back. We paid for Amber Cove and Turks and Caicos. I was told the $100 credit pp sufficed for us not seeing the ports we paid for by Carnival customer service.
