To be completely honest, it was the worst vacation that we have ever had. From seasickness, the bland food, our Stewart, too Long to receive our food, wrong food orders, the show being the same as the year before, to the horrible experience trying to get off the ship. Literally beginning to end. We had a few issues from another Carnival ship last year. But overall it was a good experience. We spend too much money, to be so miserable for five days. You’re getting a 2.7 rating. But that’s mostly from the excursion. The ship gets a 1. We plan to take a cruise every year. However moving forward it will NOT be with Carnival

Guys burgers only thing that was consistently good. All other buffets and main dining was consistently mediocre at best.

Due to the constant ship rocking, we were too sick to do all that one show. The one show that we were physically able to attend, was the exact same show that we saw on another carnival cruise the year before. This has no bearing on the entertainers themselves. They were good. But regardless of it being a different carnival, why would you do the same show from the year before?

Got our order wrong on a few occasions. People eating around us, having the same issue. Read wasn’t ready, eventually would give us one piece at a time. A room Stewart was the worst. Never saw him. When I called him, he acted as though We were inconveniencing him. No smile, no contact. I requested a small fan, because the room would not stay consistently cool. Was not a problem last year. This year, he said fans are only for people with medical needs. Also mentioned that our refrigerator did not work.I guess we should be happy that he gave us a bucket of ice every day.

It was fun. Unfortunately we spent 90% of our time on the ship in our room. My husband was sick, but I was much worse. Throwing up, and barely out of the bed. My husband went to the front desk on the last day, to mention our experience. We did not want anything in return. We merely just wanted them to know. But she did not show any compassion. It was just one excuse after another.
Ship tip
DON’T GO! The ship is small, and seems that they’re understaffed
Would give it an excellent, but the drive to her destination was pretty rough. Especially trying to recover from the cruise and the sea sickness. Also they mentioned on more than one occasion about gratuity. Which We had no issue with giving gratuity, (and we did, plenty) but it was a bit overkill.
Several hours late getting back to Port Canaveral. We understand the issues happen, but they took forever once we even got to port. Too many people don’t follow procedure. You have people trying to leave this ship who are not called upon. Making it unfair for the rest of us.There must be someway. A better way to enforce this.
Wow!!! Seems like everyone has a complaint, just a side note, when booking a cruise, explore all the carnival cruise ships from biggest to smaller & read all the reviews first before booking, that way you can figure out which is best for you & your husband. I’m extremely excited for my upcoming cruise on the elation,
Sounds like cruising is probably not for you. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. Any ship will have movement if the seas are rough. If motion sickness is an issue, you should always be prepared with something such as Dramamine or another option. Food is very subjective, but I find it hard to believe when I see reviews say the food was horrible and there was nothing they could eat. We will soon do our 20th cruise and have always found a good variety and good quality in both the main dining room and buffets on all cruise lines we have sailed. When a review gives 1 star ratings on most things, that tends to tell me much more about the attitude of the reviewer than it does about the ship, especially when others on the same exact sailing had a complete different experience.
We were on this cruise and had a great time. Was a little rough but did not effect us. Had no problems with any of the food. All was good. Our room steward was the best.
