Review summary

We loved it. It was our first cruise and we can’t wait to go on another one. We’ll definitely cruise with Carnival again.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
We a little overwhelmed with the amount of people in the buffet area when getting something to eat while waiting for our rooms. No one would give up their table when they were done eating so others could eat. There was no where else to sit.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining room was great. We had Alberto as our waiter and he was the best! The buffet was alright, nothing spectacular. Food was good overall. I don’t understand why the Blue Iguana and Guy’s Burgers was open such limited hours.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We loved the trivia with Brad, Amber and Sharon! We never did win a shiP on a stick but we had a blast trying. Bingo was so fun with with Sarah The Bingo B. The staff makes things so much fun!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Mike in the piano bar is so fun! He can play anything. Highly recommend getting a drink and hanging out with Mike. The Divas show was really good. My daughters loved the Welcome Aboard Show. The Rock Show sucked. The pre-show was nothing more than some guy warming up his guitar. The song choices were good but were not good choices for the singers or they weren’t very well rehearsed. It was truly awful and a huge disappointment after The Divas Show. Chris the Cruise Director was so much fun and We had a blast at his parties in the Atrium. He and Brad were very entertaining!

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
My daughters thought the oldest kids area was pretty lame. But they had a blast with everything else available on the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Alberto in the dining room took care of our every need. Never met our room steward but they took very good care of us! Brad, Chris, Amber and Sarah made our trip very memorable!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Someone’s always cleaning something. I thought it was interesting people leaving food trays outside their rooms but they weren’t there very long. I was a little disappointed in the size of the pool and the slides were closed a lot.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was tight for 2 adults and 2 adult sized teens but we weren’t in the room much except to sleep.

Ship tip

Enjoy it!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Lots of restaurants available.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
If you’re not doing an excursion don’t bother getting off the ship. It’s dirty, people are in your face trying to get you to buy their wares, braid your hair, etc.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
Loved Freeport. We did a Dolphin Encounter excursion that was perfect. Even if we didn’t do the excursion I would have loved to walk around Freeport a little bit.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Pretty smooth process. We were impressed. Definitely liked the option of carrying our own luggage off the boat.

Cruising can become a habit ,or should I say addicting, what's not to like?it's a big city floating on the ocean or sea, with all the the things that you like to do that carries you to other places so that you can experience new adventures!
