Review summary

There is a little to talk about on this cruise. Generally speaking there were many small trivia type of activities that had cheap prizes that you don't even buy if you see it in a gift shop or a regular store. It looks like stuff from the $1 Dollar store. I felt this was not very professionally handled to provide this type of prizes.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Pretty good a little bit dis-orienting as things were a little bit confusing for how to maneuvre around

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The Buffet was below average. Cuisine selection were limited and uninviting.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Top Deck activities were very limited considering that is where most people spend their time.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
That was about the only perfected piece of the cruse is the performers on the stage.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
All in all were OK. A lot of it was spending money on Arcade which is a bit unpleasant knowing that people paid for their tickets already.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
I did not feel the engagement of service crews and staff that immense. They hardly come to you when dining or sitting outside on the top deck.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The color theme was ugly and distracting to say the least.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was perfect for what we needed.

Ship tip

Get a better Ship Director. I think he was mechanical and did not know how to blend with the crowd.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
The parking and off-loading was confusing.

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
This is an ugly island, dirty and the people are very sticky

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
This looked more clean and organized

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was pretty good though a bit confusing.

So you complain about the Elation, yet you have 2 more bookings with that ship? Yeah right...

We were on the Elation last summer. While it wasn’t our favorite ship we still had a blast and felt the food was decent and the service was excellent.

Those $1 Trinkets from the trivia Games are standard for most cruises. It’s all for fun. Relax and enjoy the cruise.

We went in early May and had a blast. Cruise director Chris is fantastic and made everything so much fun!

Sooo you did all of your 5 cruises with Carnival in a row and in 2019? Why keep going on the same cruiseline and same destinations? Smells fishier than the oceans you were supposedly cruising!

I hate you don’t like cruising with the rest of us Walmart shoppers....

Sounds like cruising isn’t for you. Most love it, but it’s not for everyone.

You sound like a lot of fun to be around! Perhaps going somewhere where the people are not sticky (how would you know?) would make you happy.
