Eastern Caribbean Cruise itself was a great time but I would have loved to have sailed on a bigger ship and one different than Elation. I used to love sea days but this boat made it hard to enjoy because it rocked the whole time.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The experience getting on the boat was quick and easy besides the lovebugs that were swarming the port.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The dining room food and crew were amazing. There were limited food on the lido deck whereas other ships have two floors of food. The deli caused a few of us to get sick.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I was unable to enjoy the pools because they were always very packed. This ship was smaller with less areas of pools and hot tubs.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The shows were okay. I enjoyed the love and marriage show. The dj that was there the first couple of nights were great. The one that was there the last sea night was rude and unfriendly. He caused the club to be opened late.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
For the most part I had great service from my personal steward and waiter. There were other crew members on the ship that were new, rude or just unapproachable.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
The layout was horrible. The ship was smaller and did not have as many areas as I expected. The one deck area for smokers stayed dirty and full.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
My cabin was very comfortable and stayed clean thanks to our steward. The size was much smaller than ones I had before but it was okay.
Ship tip
If you get motion sickness, do not sail. It rocks a lot and smaller than others.
This port was great. Most of the excursions available for booking were for the area right outside of the port. Anyone could enjoy that area but the comfort levels are different if you purchased an excursion.
This port was okay besides the dogs running around. I purchased an excursion and the private beach area was ok. There was a resident dog there who was going around peeing on the lounge chairs. The food buffet was amazing and the open bar was okay. The beach water had trash in it and lots of rocks so water shoes were recommended. I believe the excursion was for Bajari beach.
