overall it was a really fun trip, just wish traveling with the baby was a little more accommodated, and that our trip to Freeport wasn't wasted. but staff and food and drink were great.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
it was very efficient. they were very organized and got us on the ship quickly
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was good, lots of variety, but some things like the pizza line took way too long, and the omlette station got progressively worse at my omelette everyday, but the seated dinner were great and the buffet was always hot and stocked.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
We were traveling with a one year old and since he was in diapers he wasn't allowed I nthe pool, which I understand but I wish there was an option for him. also the day care times for his age were extremely limited and at really inconvenient times, not when we wanted it.
Entertainment
traveling withthe baby we didnt have time to see any of it
Children's Programs
2 out of 5
again, the times that we were allowed to drop off our 1 year old were extremely limited, and the time frames we were alloewqd to drop him off just were not practical to fit into the scheduke of the rest of the cruise. The day at sea when we really wanted to utilize it, we couldn't because the times were so spotty, or way too late at night when he would have been asleep for hours at that point.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
service is always great, everyone knows your name and works really hard. Our room was always clean, our waiters always had milk ready for the baby, overall the staff was great.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Theres only so much you can do with a big ship and a ton of people but it looked like htye did what they could to constantly clean and maintain the ship
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
it was a little small which is totally expected, but overall was kept clean and the bed was comfy.
Ship tip
Not really condusive for traveling with a child under 2
we got in late, so our excursion was canceled, which we were really looking forward to. by the time we were aware of it, there were very limited choices left, and by the time we would have had to be back for dinner, it was going to cost over 100$ for 2 hours of a beach which was not worth it, so we did not end up doing anything off the ship. although we were refunded, it would have been a nice gesture for carnival to try to do something above to make up for it. pretty disappointing.
