Review summary

All in all, we had a good time. Normal staterooms are not good for a couple and a 2 year old. Way too small. Elevators were lacking, ship design just okay.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was mediocre

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Guys burgers are good, but most of the food was not of the best quality

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Activities were limited on this ship. Pool and hot tubs were always overstuffed with kids (need adult only area)

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were pretty good

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
They had a small day care room and a splash area with slides on the boat, but not much else

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff was all very friendly. Service in restaurant was very good.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The rooms on the main stateroom floors had a bad odor, very small too. Common areas were pretty clean and maintained though.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
I found an old shoe under our bed. Room is tiny, but cozy. Bed was comfortable. Location of main staterooms is far from entertainment and only 14 elevators for 2200 people, so very long wait sometimes

Ship tip

Book a suite. The suites are pretty nice.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
Ehhh... Not much to do immediately off the ship. Have to take transportation to anywhere you want to go.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Nassau was fun. Lots of shops and restaurants. Great beach

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Was able to get off the boat pretty quickly

Note for 2nd cruise: Inside & Ocean View State Rooms 185 sq.ft....Junior Suite/Ocean Suite/Cloud 9 Suite are 275sq.ft (90sq' larger or 9'x10' larger) ....Grand Suites & Grand Ocean Suites varies between 345-450 sq.ft.... Sometimes you can get a better deal on the smaller suites with out sacrificing comfort. 🤗

Did you look into the Camp Ocean for the kids? They are divided into different age groups and plenty of activities are offered. Also, the Green Eggs and Ham Dr. Seuss breakfast for the kids. What was mediocre about Embarkation?
