My girlfriend and I had never been on a cruise. We wanted to go someplace warm to escape the cold of NYC. Overall our experience was very positive and we will be taking our opinions from this cruise and utilizing them when searching for our next cruise.

Food and Dining

The options for dining were limited. Essentially we could only eat in the dining room or the buffet. Only specialty restaurant was the steakhouse in which we would be sitting in the dining room. We did do the chef's table, which was amazing. Overall would have preferred more options.
Onboard Activities

We attended the art auction on two days and went to the fitness center on our first morning. The weather on the sea day hindered us from utilizing and outdoor activities.
Entertainment

The comedians were very good and the Carnival quest game was extremely fun. We did not see any of the other shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Almost every staff member we encountered had a positive attitude. Our dinner waiter Joel and his team were fantastic as he always greeted us with a big smile and even came and said hello when we were not seated in his section for lunch. We made sure to request him each time we arrived for dinner. The bartender out in front of the comedy lounge (Cole Porter Club?), Ary, was also a favorite. He was quick, efficient in taking and making drink orders. He remembered our names and was very personable in conversation. We made sure to go see him everyday.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was clean and the size was acceptable for what we needed. The only complaint would be that the "king" size bed is actually a queen size bed and the mattresses are not held together well at all. With two of us sleeping in the bed we wokeup with a large gap in between the bed as the twin mattresses pushed apart from one another.
We did the kayak excursion, which was perfect for the time we had at Freeport. The beach that we were brought to was beautiful and barely any people were there, which made the experience even better.
