Review summary

Comedy was great. Magic show, crafts, build a bear, pool, arcade were all very underwhelming. only 1 small pool for 3k people is awful. only 1 set of cornhole boards caused lines to wait to play for over an hour at a time. The food was no where near as good as your other ships. Getting rid of 24 hour FREE room service was not a good call. The internet connection is lowsy for the price. The best thing about our cruise was the islands and the comedy show.

Much faster than usual.

Onboard Activities

Comedy show with Cowboy Comedian was incredible for both family and rated R. The magic show was so bad that we actually walked out. The Build a Bear was presented online as if it were a shop, & it was not.

Service and Staff

Staff were not nearly as accommodating or friendly as I've seen on all other Carnival ships and they are far from the customer service level of Disney cruise staff.

Ship tip

Dont do it. There was 1 single pool for almost 3k people and it was so packed that we couldn't even get in. The activities were all mediocre except the Comedy. The crafts activity was severly misrepresented and so was the build a bear. I will never go on this ship again. It's definitely the lower standard ship of all of Carnival.

No complaints other than the heat @ disembarkation The fans were all placed to blow on the luggage and not on those of us waiting in line. The luggage didn't need to be cooled off, we did.

At full capacity The Elation holds just under 3000 guests. It has been booked most of the summer with 2900+ every cruise🛳🛳🛳🛳

Go the day before and get a hotel with a pool and the day after your cruise and use the pool if you can.

First of all, ship doesn’t even hold 3,000 guests 😂😂 second Disney is not even close to a fair comparison (Im sure you noticed a price difference as well lol) next month is my 3rd time on this ship and have never had a bad experience, I’ve had excellent service and food. And no this is not the only ship I’ve been on or the only cruiseline
