I am so happy we chose this as our first cruise. Everything was perfect. The people. The destination. Everything. The people on this cruise ship... Sebastian, WK, BK, Richard, and Romana set the bar so high that I don't think we will ever be able to go on another cruise and come back and say that we honestly enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed this cruise. Thank you to all of the people mentioned above! They made our first cruise the most amazing family vacation ever!

The dining rooms were always clean. The wait staff was always so fast at getting The tables cleaned up and wiped off for The next person. The food wasn't the greatest but it was good. Sebastian who was the chef at the pizza place on the boat was so kind.

The pizza was very good. But the chef Sebastian is why I am leaving this review. He was one of the nicest guys on that boat. He made sure we were always happy with our food. And even took time out of his busy day to play peek a boo with our baby from behind the counter and high five our two older kids. He was by far our favorite person in the restaurant!
Onboard Activities

We got to enjoy the family game show on the boat. It was definitely the best activity they did. I wish they would have done it more than one night we loved it that much! We got to hang out at the pool and waterslides which was AWESOME! We also attended the Divas show and the Rock concert that was on the boat. They were okay. We also went to the atrium every night to sing with the cruise director WK (Kevin). That was an absolute blast. Everyone enjoyed it even the baby! It was amazing to see people on every floor joining in and singing as a group!
Entertainment

The one lady that was the singer at Divas and the Rock concert was amazing. Then the guy who started out the Rock concert playing the guitar was great. Other than that it wasn't amazing. But I am still giving the entertainment 5 stars because anything that BK and WK (Kevin and/ or Kevin) was the host of turned out amazing! They were such funny and sweet guys!

My older kids loved camp ocean. They went our very last night on the boat and told me they wished I would have sent them more than just that one night.

The waiters were very sweet and were the best waiters/waitresses we have ever had honestly. Our steward Richard was absolutely amazing. He made sure we were happy the whole time. We had 5 people in our room (1 a baby) and he was very patient with us we just so happened to come to our room 2 different times when he was there cleaning and he offered to leave and come back later just so we could get in which was very sweet. He didn't just clean our room but made sure we were having a great time in the boat. The guest services manager Romana was the sweetest lady you will ever meet. My 8 month old baby fell in love with her. She played peek a boo with him from behind the counter. He would not stop smoking at her. She even gave my kids a special suprise for being good while we were doing the singing trivia in the atrium. Carnival Elation had the most amazing ship personnel.

Thanks to Richard our cabin was always clean. It was a decent sized room but it definitely wasn't made to for 5 people in it.
Ship tip
I would highly recommend sailing on the carnival elation. The cruise director Kevin is so funny and nice. Not one person on the boat just walked past and ignored you. Everyone stopped to see/play with the baby and high five the kids. They definitely hired the sweetest people you will ever meet!
It was very very confusing. We missed getting to go to the beach beacause no one knew what they were to do here. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING cost money. If you have to use the bathroom you have to pay. We did take a shuttle around town and it was absolutely gorgeous but Half Mood Cay was much nicer!
