Review summary

This was an interesting cruise for us. We were delayed one day due to Hurricane Matthew blowing through. Because of the storm and delay, many cruisers didn't make it to the ship, leaving the ship only about 1/3 full. That was fine with me, as there was very short wait times if we had to wait at all. (Don't be fooled by the cruise date at the very beginning, as the website wouldn't let me pick 10/8/16 as the cruise date)

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation ran smoothly since there were so few people.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We don't cruise for the food, but the food on this cruise was better than some because there weren't as many people pawing all over it.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
On sea days, we like playing the trivia games and people-watching.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the evening variety show. The comedians were hilarious!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was great! Since the ship was only about 1/3 full, it gave the crew a good chance to personalize their service, and they really took advantage of that chance.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The crew kept the ship clean, although there were some places showing normal wear and tear. There were times where we had to go up or down a deck or two to get from place to place due to the galley and dining rooms being amid-ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were able to take advantage of an upsell to a Grand Suite, and it was sweet.

Ship tip

Some may think this ship is too small to be a good cruise, but they're wrong.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again, with the lack of cruisers, disembarkation was a breeze.

Yes it was 2016 Elation from Jax Trollidoll. We were on the cruise during the hurricane. 😊

We were on the hurricane cruise right before yours. Sorry they gave us one of your days. 😊
