We took a small desk fan. The ac works well in the cabins though. I'm just the type that can't sleep without one lol. The smaller desk fans are perfect for packing on a lighter side.

We always take a fan. Have not had a cabin yet that the temp gets very cool.

Fans are not prohibited. You are allowed to take a fan.

We had the option to cut air down. We kept our cabin in 68, it was always cold in ours
