Overall Elation was a good ship. The staff was friendly, respectful and hard working. You can still tell it’s a older ship. But it’s not bad the staff does a great job at trying to keep it up. The only downside. ( I know they have the serenity deck which is located at the back of the ship away from the entertainment.) But the kids need their own hot tub and their own pool area somewhere besides the Lido deck. They should not on the Lido deck if so with a time limit !!! You could never get in the hot or pool because it was full of kids.

The staff was great the food was okay I would say the meat was excellent they just need better choices of sides and vegetables especially vegetables. Guys and Blue cantina are excellent and the Tiffany buffet was all right, I’m just not big fan of buffets.

(Randall) our room steward, (I Gede) our dinning room waiter, (Roland) bartender at the casino. ( Richard) not sure but he was out on the Lido cleaning. All went over and beyond!!! They are awesome, friendly and excelled at their jobs!

I know they work hard at trying to keep up and clean with so many people. With as quick as they have to turn it over between each new cruise duration. Little things get overlooked like a ice cream cone that someone placed above the elevator it was left for some time. I picked up on the third day.
Cabin / Stateroom

I was worried because of all the past reviews. It was actually cleaner than what I expected. Our room steward Randall did a excellent job at keeping it clean. One night we did have an issue with the toilet not flushing and he came right away and fixed it.
Blue lagoon I wish they would’ve had notified all of the passengers that booked that excursion. That the tide would be low. Because one of the main reasons we booked it was so the kids can play at the water park. And yes we did research before going but we could not really comprehend that the water was gonna be that low. The only reason we found out is because we went to the shore excursion desk. To book a excursion for PC.The staff was nice
enough to tell us that Our kids would not be using the waterpark at blues again because of the water level.
It was okay not much to do there.
We did swim with the stingrays and shopped. The only thing we he did not like was all the flies in the eating area. We should have went back to a clamshell to eat our lunch .
