Review summary

Overall a great time. Food wasn’t great but good drinks and entertainment for our 10 year old daughter!

Embarkation

We had a suite so we were enable to get on the boat very quickly. We took an Uber to the port and it was quick and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The drinks were great! All top shelf stuff. We reached our 15 drink limit 2 nights. They really do cut you off! The food was ok. The burger place and the Mexican place were by far the best places for food on the ship. The dining room wasn’t great. Keep your expectations low on the food and you won’t be disappointed. We care more about drinks than food so it was fine for us.

Onboard Activities

The live music was nice! We also saw the comedian one night which was ok. Watched a lot of Tru TV in the room! Our daughter loved the karaoke. The casino wasn’t bad. Bingo was a rip off. Trivia was fun but there were crappy prizes. The art action was pretty funny. No one buys anything :)

We traveled with a 10 yr old girl. She had an awesome time and the kids club. The fact that she had fun made it fun for us! She loved the independence of being able to check herself in and out. She met tons of friends! I would highly recommend for an only child

Cabin / Stateroom

This was a great room! Full shower and our daughter loved the pull out beds. It was near the elevators but it wasn’t loud. Totally worth a few extra dollars!

Ship tip

Be aware! We had a few rocky nights. We didn’t get sick but we had to go to bed early bc of the rocking. It was a little disappointing but obviously Carnival can’t control the waves.

It was beautiful but a total rip off. Carnival charges for everything while you are there. Drinks even if you have the cheers program and umbrella rental. Food was free but we just went back to the boat and ate there. No lines on the boat.

Disembarkation

Fast and easy! We had a suite so we had special privileges. We lined up to leave the boat at 7:45 and we were at the airport by 8:45. Highly recommend taking the ship’s bus to the airport.
