Review summary

Ok. Not the best. Don’t plan on ever goIng on this ship again. Not the way I wanted to spend my honeymooon. Carnival needs to step it up if they want me back.

Embarkation

Could have had less waiting in line to board the ship. Especially when we stated we would board between 12:00-12:30. They said it was important for us to keep to our time but they didn’t seem to care to keep to it.

Buffets were awful. The food had no flavor. It’s pretty bad when you eat dry cereal for breakfast because it taste better than anything else they were serving in the buffet. Milk was awful too. Dining room food was better than buffet but still lacked flavor. I use to rave about Carnivals food on the ships but not anymore. Awful.

Serenity deck hot tubs, comedy show and a few after dinner shows. They were all good.

Parts of the ship are rusted and need to be repaired. Shower in cabin was messed up. Had to have maintenance service the toilet because it decided to stop flushing in the middle of the night.

Jacksonville, Florida

Very unhappy with the Jacksonville port. Took forever to get off the ship. Ship was back in Jacksonville at 8:00AM but we did not get off the ship till after 10:45. The porter dropped my luggage at the pick up and drop off lane. My husband went to get the car but could not get to me because people were sitting in the pick up and drop off lanes and not moving. I asked an attendant didn’t they have to move every so often so the other cars could pick up. He said they did but had an attitude and I had already waited 15 minutes before I even asked him. He said I could walk to my car where my husband was but I had 5 pieces of luggage that the porter had left at the street. I told him I had already paid one porter and wasn’t paying another. Finally, another atttendent told my husband to pull into the pass thru lane to get me.
