Review summary

Absolutely amazing time. Great people, made lots of friends, enjoyed a day on the beach, won lots of swag in the jewelry store, saw fine entertainment, and were given personalized service every time we ate in the Imagination room

Embarkation

5 out of 5
About as chaotic as expected. I saw people complaining about lines and the length of the process, but for me, I was getting on a floating party with 2,000 people. It seemed as organized as it could be, coming from a first-timer who researched and prepped for it all. Having your documents ready when called up speeds up your process and that of everyone behind you

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Imagination room was amazing, so was the Guy's Burger Joint along with the BlueIguana cantina.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Games during the day, lots to do

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great shows! We got backstage passes to the last show, toured backstage, and had VIP seating. Other shows were good to great, with comics, a juggling act, and movies on board in the Cole Porter Lounge

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jasper in the imagination room ALWAYS greeted us by name, so did Joner our cabin steward. BK who was running some of the daytime and evening entertainment was very personable, even posed for a pic with my girlfriend. Cruise director Kevin was a very fun, charismatic guy who brought positive vibes and boundless energy to even a debarkation meeting. Heck, even the muster drill was fun. It was run by Cody, who was part of the evening's shows we attended. We had an amazing time, and these individuals mentioned, and countless others, enjoy what they do and it shows

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Fresh from dry dock, we had more outlets than we originally thought. Room was always clean. I had heat exhaustion from our beach day, and our steward (Joner) seemed very concerned for me, and made sure we had fresh ice seemingly every few hours for the rest of the trip. I saw some maintenance work being done, but I think it was

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfortable, extra pillows were already in the room when we got there. I had requested them MONTHS earlier, which is stellar service! Size was just right, in fact roomier than I initially expected.

Ship tip

Perfect for the first timer. If you have experienced other cruise lines with more amenities, you are then spoiled, and could be let down with this ship. For a regular guy like me, it was perfect.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

I would give it ten stars if I could. I swam with stingray, walked on the softest sand ever created, tasted the sea, and ate a cheeseburger in paradise

Nassau, Bahamas

Crowded, but lots of good shopping and photo ops
