Review summary

We did not get to go on Carnival Elation it was in dry dock. They put us on another shop a few days befor we docked. We did not enjoy this cruise. We did not get to go to half moon cay due to weather. But we still went to Nassau and it was storming there. They took us to Freeport instead. Nothing to do there it was rainy. We will not travel with Carnival again. We enjoyed our trip with Royal Caribbean 20Xs better.

I had always heard that Carnival Cruise Lines had discovered a way to control the weather. Guess I heard wrong.

I certainly see where you may have not enjoyed the turn of events and the weather, but I believe any other cruise line would have had the same results for you. I can see you as a future poster with the “Carnival sucks!” theme... through no fault of theirs.

So you blame the cruise line because you booked your cruise during peak hurricane season and didn't enjoy the weather. So besides the weather, was your stateroom nice? How was staff? Were there activities on the ship? Weather is something no cruise line can control. You are completely asinine in your rating.

I have been on a cruises that were better than others, and worse than others, but never 20x better. THAT is impressive!

So you would have rather they sailed you into a hurricane. Sounds legit.... When you book a cruise during hurricane season you always take a chance of itinerary changes.

Some ports are more accessible than others during inclement weather, so they change the itinerary for the safety of the ship and passengers.

You did travel during peak hurricane season. Avoid hurricane season all together no matter which cruise line you choose.
