Review summary

Although we enjoyed the Cruise immensely. Don't know if Cruising is the best avenue for our future family trips. Family reunions, on the other hand would be great. Don't have to see all members all the time. Just enough to avoid bringing up past family issues.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy on with VIP passes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Other than long waiting lines, service and food superb.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Always something to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Amazing!

Children's Programs

Kids decided to stay with parents rather than exploring teen clubs/social gatherings.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They make the World of Difference, almost like being at Disney!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was an older ship. Apparently renovations have begun.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our Cabin Stewards did an excellent job in the upkeep of an otherwise older/worn down room.

Ship tip

Older! Ready for updates.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

5 out of 5
Easy to get to. Easy to get on ship and get off ship. Extremely convenient form SC.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
Did expect a Private Bath with bungalow rental. Otherwise, safe/clean/relaxing.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Nice visit, toured the island. Well managed. All visiting areas were properly secured in order to ensure safety. I would have wanted to self explore other areas on the islands not owned/controlled by Carnival. But we understand that Safety is paramount in foreign countries.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and efficient with VIP passses.

we go as a business. but we are family too. so for us the cruise is great, individual families do as the please during the day and then get together at dinner to catch up and then split up again.

You must have an interesting family (lol). Probably like most of us, maybe a little more unique. Plan a reunion cruise for them and book yourself on a different cruise!

Or do like me go and don't invite family
