Relaxing, fun family cruise for the value that we paid. Entertainment was great, dining room food was fabulous and staff was extremely wonderful.
Our teenagers had a blast in the Club!!

Breakfast and Dining room dinners were very good but was not happy with Buffett, pizza, sandwich spots as you waited at least 20 minutes each time on food. With a ship that serves as many people as this does, you would think that Carnival would do a much better job to ensure that the wait times were not outrageous such as these. The pizza station only brought out two pies every 20 minutes. These were only personal size so you can imagine that they did not go very far. You were lucky if you got a slice after 20 minutes. I am not sure why they only had one person working this station all the time and why they didn't keep up with cooking pizza? There was never not a line no matter what time of day or night.

the activities were plentiful for both our children and my husband and I. We enjoyed the interaction with the staff.

Our 14 year old and 16 year old had so much fun in Club 02 thanks to Tiffany! She kept them interested and wanting to come back. My husband and I felt like empty nesters which was totally unexpected as we did not think our kids would be hanging out in the club as much As they did.

So many polite, kind and hardworking employees on the Elation. They gave top notch service throughout the ship. Once again, my only complaint is about food service being slow.

Carnival Elation definitely needs an overhaul as the ship wasn't impressive due to the age and lack of upkeep.

Would definitely recommend the Faster to fun package. Do not feel that we got our monies worth on the Cheers package. Since carnival only allows 15 drink limit I don't see why all adults in room have to purchase this package if only one person wants it? You are not giving unlimited drinks so it doesn't seem fair.
Beautiful island, wonderful people.
After all these years I am certain that Carnival can come up with plenty ways to use your cheers package on the island. I thought of 3 in only a few short moments! Feel as though this was just a way to make further money off of the guests.
Glad to hear about your teens. My teen was quite snarky when we surprised the kids w a cruise instead of a week in Gulf Shores. I hope he actually goes to the club & has fun.
