Review summary

I love cruising and one of my favorite part is the great food. This time the food was such a disappointment. I could hardly believe it. One evening there was salmon on the menu for dinner, there were six of us sitting at our table, four people ordered the salmon and two of the orders of salmon was not done. The only good meal we had was the prime rib. One night out of five, I couldn't believe it.This was my sister's first cruise and I had told her how good the food was on a cruise and we got this. It wasn't all bad, our servers were great, Jose our waiter,and the rest of our table crew made up for the bad food. Freddie and the crew at the deli were a pleasure. Harold, our room steward, was excellent. Our room was always clean and he was pleasant, always smiling and check to see if we needed anything.

My godfather and I was also on board on the same day on April 22nd for ship inspection. We did the tour of the ship. And we had an eight-course meal luncheon in the aft main dining room. And I was very pleased with the food it was very good and that chocolate melting cake was to die for LOL. We did not have one thing that was undercooked. And they all came out hot. But this is based on my experience. Everybody's experiences different.

Remember, if you don't like a meal, ask for something else. If you eat something you didn't like, it's your fault.

I do agree that the food has gone down a bit latley on carnival but the only time I had something under done was on half moon cay. my burger was half raw.
