Review summary

This was my first cruise and it was absolutely amazing!!! The Carnival Elation was a beautiful boat and the crew was extremely friendly! Naussa wasn't what I expected and I was slightly disappointed at that port, but Half Moon Cay exceeded my expectations and make the whole invite trip wonderful!  I absolutely can't wait until my next cruise!!

The cleaning of the room was top notch and so was the view! One suggest would be to clean the Windows.

Like ports-of-call, the best is the farther you can get from the ship and back in time for embarkation. There are fun and beautiful places around New Providence Island that is NOT strictly in "Nassau" which is a congested traffic-filled capitol city. Ardastra Gardens is cool, shady and the home of the "Marching Flamingos." Beaches such as Adelaide Beach and Yamacraw Beach are gorgeous. Check out Fort Charlotte following a delicious conch salad at Fish Fry, right by Arawak Cay. I recommend Frankie Gone Bananas.

I went on the Elation on May 2nd and I agree it was amazing! Half Moon Cay was so wonderful. I already knew what to expect from Nassau. we just planned to shop there anyway so it was great.
