Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
our best meal was our evening in the dining room. all the other food leaved a lot to be desired.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I enjoyed the 2 comedy act it had on the this ship and the marriage game it had. I did get tired of all the raffles. It seemed like they were using that as most of the entertainment.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
all of our staff was wonderful especially the person who cleaned our cabin and our wait our server Benjamin in the dinning Room.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
it was always well kept and we enjoyed wonderful service. thank you.

Ship tip

we went to Cozumel and did the all inclusive resort at Cozumel Palace. It was awesome. Snorkeling , swimming. all the food and drinks you can stand in that short amount of time off the ship. wish we were there longer. 8 dollar taxi ride. there and back. Thanks

Welcome to cruising,   Elation is a mid size older ship.  Ship size alone will not guarantee you smooth sailing.   I felt more ship movement on a 138K ton ship then I have on a 77K ton ship.    As mentioned above,  mid ship and lower levels are the smoothest.  be sure and look what is above and below your cabin so that it will be nice and quiet at night.

Welcome to cruising!! For your next cruise, if your prone to motion sickness, you may want to consider a cabin more mid-ship. Your cabin on the Elation is WAAAY aft and the more aft or forward you go, the more movement you will feel.
