all in all it was a fun cruise. There were a couple of issues that I think carnival should address. 1 the fact thatthe layout for the smoking section in the drama bar makes no sense.all of the smokers have to stand at one corner of the bar where there are air purifiers that do no good. 2 when the buffet was shut down the other areas like pizza and deli did not seem to have enough help because there were always lines. 3 we booked in ocean view because they only balcony is on this ship are expensive suites, but we could not see out most of the time because our window was so dirty on the outside. other than those things we had a great time in the dance bar and with some of the other entertainment on board. The majority of the crew was extremely friendly
Ship Quality
the rooms need remodeling and our shower kept going from very hot to cold and back again
Food and Dining
the food in the buff a was usually colder than it should have been. But the food in the dining areas was great.
Service and Staff
very friendly and tentative.
Entertainment
the live bands were not so great, but the shows in the Mikado lounge we're pretty good
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Cozumel has some of the most beautiful water I have ever seen, Progresso was a fairly nasty port and if we had not gone to the Mayan ruins I would not have enjoyed it at all
New Orleans, Louisiana
Cozumel, Mexico
we took the excursion to passion island on the speed boat and it was great
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
the only thing that made this port worthwhile was the fact that we went to the Mayan ruins at Uxmal
