Ship: Carnival Elation

Cabin type: Inside

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

The ship was very clean, everywhere you went. Our room, though the 'cheap' option, was much bigger than we had expected- there was plenty of storage for us over-packers, and the beds were very comfortable. For dinner you were assigned a table, which worried us at first but we were seated with other couples around our own age, as it seemed most people were. The staff was very friendly, and there was always plenty to do. I would highly recommend a cruise on the Carnival Elation to anyone.

this was like a 'fancy' Tijuana---pretty much all there was to do was see the blowhole or drink at some of the popular places like Pappas & Beer

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

beautiful! we walked through the market and took a glass bottom boat to the beach where we had margaritas and rented jetskis, it was so much fun!
Don't Miss: the beach and the arch---take a glass bottom boat!!!

Pros: everyone was incredibley friendly, the room was much bigger than we expected and the beds were amazingly comfortable

Cons: the food was good, but not great at the day buffet--dinner in the dining room was pretty good, and got progressively better throughout the cruise
