Awsome Trip

Sail Date: August 11, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This was the most amazing experience of my life. The food was great. It was like eating $100 meals every night. You can order as many portions as you wish. The deserts were great and the atmosphere was really good. The staff was really fun. Their is a lot of gambling on the ship so if you have a gambling problem dont go on this ship. Bingo was fun but expensive and they have a casino. The limits are low the first night but double the second night. They even have face up blackjack. Thats where you actully see the dealers cards. (ties are won by the dealer). Dont miss the horse races!

Pros: Structured Activities and Dinner

Cons: Lots of Gambling

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Showers are small but manageble. Get a room in the middle of the ship it rocks the least.
Ship Quality
The ship was mostly pretty clean but the pools are very small and not good looking. It is also salt water.
Food and Dining
THE BEST!
Service and Staff
Really fun!
Entertainment
Always something to do.
Ensenada, Mexico
Lots of shopping. We did the Taste of Mexico Excursion. It was really fun we learned about ensenda history and got to make tamales, salsa, and tostadas. It was worth the money.
Don't Miss: Shopping
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Really expensive. We went jet sking it was really fun but expensive. Also their is not insurance since the ship does endorse this activity. Do the ships excursion. Everyone said swimming with the dolphins was really good also it is less expensive if bought on the ship.
Don't Miss: Swimming with the dolphins
