Food was ok first 2 days 3 day I got food poisoning and thank god we were in a grand suite as I had a tub so for 10hrs last night of cruise I sat on toilet and threw up in tub. Thank his

Had a grand suite with extended balcony and never had anyone clean our room the 4 days we were gone. The night before we disembarked they came in and changed out our lamps with usb accessible lights

Thank god cabin was huge as we pretty much stayed in it the entire cruise

Ship tip

Avoid at all cost. This was the most ghetto cruise ever. I wouldn’t sail on this ship again if someone else paid for it. Putrid smell on the entire ship and nobody was helpful with me having food poisoning said that there were multiple people sick but they could know where it came from

To auntie pinkie it takes 24hrs for food poisoning Symptoms to show up not 3 days after I board the ship from something I ate before getting onboard. And no I wasn’t in the cabin the whole time just the last 24hrs so there was no reason for them not to clean it. And to the girl that says it was because I was on a booze cruise is the reason it was horrible “no” it was because the ship stunk was horrible service and food poisoning from their food. Never had a problem with people sailing just Carnivals staff and ship.

You have the option of selecting how many times they will clean your cabin. It is offered to you Embarkation day by the Cabin Steward.

Sorry that you had a bad experience. I have sailed out of Jacksonville twice on Elation and Ecstacy and really enjoyed both. Please dont let one bad experience sway future sailings.

Never had that problem with carnival, cabin cleaned 2x a day, bed turned down every night, with chocolate on the pillow.

I sailed the Ecstasy out of Jacksonville Jan 2020. I said never again will I sail that ship. Not up to standards Imo. Smell bad.

not so sure about food poisoning. I got some bad spaghetti at a restaurant, only finished about a quarter of it, threw up remediately!!! and I mean emediately!!!!!!

Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations! It doesn’t jibe with 38 sailings on Carnival it the 3 times we have been on the Ecstasy. If you got food poisoning, it should be noted that you had symptoms too early to have been from the ship. More than likely from before you boarded. We like the Carnival Ecstasy!

They buffet has gone way down on carnival. It use to be my favorite thing. I do have to watch myself and don't pig out and include fiber in my diet. As far as my cabin, it was spotless. I usually get the least expensive interior cabin i can because I'm barely in there.
