Embarkation

Was a very smooth process and we left on time!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good and there were quite a few choices.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pool, casino, water slide. Smaller ship, but there was a decent amount of things to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Cam, the cruise director definitely worked at making it a fun place to be. The Sweet Emoceans were great as well as the other musicians.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
For the most part, the staff was wonderful from start to finish.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The outside if the ship itself shows the many years it's been cruising, as well as the interior windows and things. The common areas were pretty clean though.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
This was the one big bummer compared to all else. I thought my room would look like the photo for interior rooms- it did not. In fact there were no curtains for the faux window at all. That alone would have made a big difference. Pay close attention to exactly which stateroom you have when booking. Probably by only my own fault, I didn't realize that my room would have my bed, plus the one on the wall right above mine and across the bed on the other wall. Made for a very cramped space. Was glad to have a big enough bathroom, but despite the room being cleaned everyday, the bathroom still had hair as and residue from before I arrived.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

4 out of 5
Embarked at the port here.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
The port is in the industrial side, so an excursion or some transportation to visit town is a must.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Port was right in the action! A walk in to town was just a few minutes. Lots to do and had the entire day to explore!

Disembarkation

If you want to not be the last off of the ship, carry your luggage off with you. I was under the impression that having my luggage taken the evening before would speed things up, however, it did not. I needed to be on the road far earlier than when I ended up disembarking. Then realizing that having the bags taken off literally meant just that, that we'd be some of the very last people off the ship and then have to find our luggage only to then have to get the last part of the line for customs.

As hard as the staff works, prepaid gratuities and some extra cash is well worth it.
