Our Steward, DeNang, was the best part of the trip.

It is an old boat, but was well maintained for its age.

Cabin / Stateroom

A few more 110 outlets would have made life a lot easier.

Ship tip

Bring 12 pack of soft drinks, order water on board, bring a power strip to use with the 1 110 outlet for charging phones and devices.

Enjoyed parasailing

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

3 out of 5
The cancellation of the snorkel trip by Carnival was a "bummer." Information about the length of the beach and that their are clam shells all along the beach would reduce crowding near the information booth.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and close to the parking. Having someone there that could jump our car due to a dead battery was "GREAT!"

Dont base the whole carnival line off the ecstasy. We've bern on 5 carnival cruises and ecstasy was our least favorite.

It seems like most of your concerns could have been resolved with a little research beforehand. What to bring with you at embarkation is listed on the website and in documents / emails sent to you prior to boarding. The same thing applies to the cost of drinks and packages, very easy to find with a quick Internet search. As far as the cancellation of the snorkeling trip, that can happen for a variety of reasons - weather, equipment failure, not enough people booked, etc. - But is not unique to one specific cruise line and a reason not to book that cruise line again.
