I was very disappointed with my cruise. When I purchased my cruise my intentions was to visit 2 places, understandable of the weather condition I feel we could have been rerouted to a nother island, or stayed 2 days to the one we did get to visit

Unfortunately that's the problem when cruising during hurricane season and a risk you take. There are a lot of ships out there and it may not have been possible to get into another port.

Stop feeling sad and be happy you still when in ur cruise. The Bahamas got hit with a cat 5 hurricane and you crying over a miss port. Be happy you had a good time and thank god. There people that are dead missing or no where to live in the Northern Bahamas so again be thankful

Compensated for what, you still got your 5 day cruise in didn’t you? You sound like an AH asking for that when those people’s lives have been destroyed. Stops get cancelled and changed all the time due to various reasons, you will get the taxes back, that is it.

Cruise itineraries can and do change for a variety of reasons - weather, medical, mechanical or political issues, etc. As Stated in the contract that everyone agrees to when booking a cruise, the itinerary can change and is not guaranteed. If a specific port or ports are of extreme importance to you, you should get a comprehensive travel insurance policy that will compensate you for a change in itinerary or a missed port. That way you at least have some compensation to possibly visit there again in the future.

Be reasonable. The Bahamas got crushed and they are still trying to find all the dead bodies. And you want to complain you can't get off the ship?

Thank goodness you were kept safe from the storm.

You can ask for the port fees back for the port that was missed. It seems you didn't enjoy anything on the cruise. Maybe cruising isn't for you?
