Overall this cruise did not meet up to our expectations. Pool time, spa time were over-ridden with so many children. Adults monopolized the pool furniture by seldom using them but leaving their belongings on them to hold. Food was fair for the most part. Staff was very good most areas, especially dining room. Entertainment was good.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food in dining room was fair but not as good as other cruises we have been on. Hamburgers in Lido area, however, were very good.
Onboard Activities

It was impossible to use the pools to swim because so many children were in beginning early in the morning until late afternoon. The Whirlpool had countless babies with their mothers or unsupervised tots. No diaper signs posted to ensure they were waterproofed. Leisure activities for older adults was poor. A great mini golf course on top deck but unused in the hot sun. No indoor exercise classes for adults such as tai chi or other less strenuous exercises provided.
Entertainment

We saw two shows which were very good, the others were of no interest. Enjoyed the duo "The Two" and the female/male violinists in lounges.
Children's Programs
We did not bring children, but I would add there were so many very small unsupervised children on board I would never book another cruise again in the summer.
Service and Staff

Always ready to help and friendly for the most part. Our room stewart failed to provide us a final invoice which has caused a great deal of stress. Finally today, I was able to actually get a person on the telephone who will send us an invoice.
Ship Quality

The ship layout and design was very good and people were always seen sweeping and cleaning. My only complaint is there were not enough sanitizers posted throughout the ship, expecially around hand railings and throughout the restaurants. The pool area is another thing. With so many small children crowding the whirlpool areas and the pools with insufficient diapers on and monopolozing time there made both undesireable areas. There was no way to swim beyond a quick dunk. Furthermore, an adult pool should be provided clearly marked "No Children'. I came home sick and I'm sure it was due to the germs on handrails, etc.
Cabin / Stateroom

This indeed was a highlight of our trip. Comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was friendly; however, our steward failed to leave us a final invoice which has been a cause of stress.
Ship tip
Do not travel in the summer if you want peace and quiet. Childrens' groups overran the ship. and many smaller children were allowed to run rampant.
It took an hour from start to finish. I thought that was fair considering how many people were on board. We were among the first to exit. My husband has problems walking; in retrospect, I should have asked for a wheel chair.
