Review summary

Our cruise was all in all a wonderful, memorable time. And an extra shout out to all of the staff that was willing to have a photo taken with a stuffed gnome we brought along to make an "adventure" blog for our then 4yr old grandson, who waited patiently every evening to see "Shanigans" adventure upload to FB

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Awesome experience, we had F2F and embarkation seemed to fly right by.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was superb, drinks were great, however staff tended to be a little pushy about the drink of the day.

Wind Song Dining Room

5 out of 5

The staff, and the dining room are splendid. The food was scrumptious.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We played Bingo, went to most of the shows, serenity deck wasn't quite what we had hoped for but over all wasn't bad

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Everyone was just amazing, the comedian on the other had, was awesome

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most of the staff were amazing, however our room steward was less then desirable. Took her days to bring us a robe, (we asked for 2 on day 1, finally got just 1 on day 3) We also asked for an extra pillow she told us that carnival does do that. We asked for ice, and never got any.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was exceptional

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We absolutely, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though our Stewart was not so friendly

Ship tip

Make sure to take one morning to watch the sun rise, and one evening to watch the sun set! Those 2 were without doubt the most memorable of the entire tip

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
Very beautiful city, with so much history! If you get a chance, Visit King Street Cookies (a treat for sure) Also visit Washington Square (which happen to have an art fair at the time we went) and even if you can't go in to any of the museums, you should at least visit "Museum Mile". All of "Downtown" is a must see. Come a day or 2 early and put on your best walking shoes.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
My idea of "Paradise"

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
The port was dirty, the people were rude, pushy, and physically aggressive.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Only complaint is that I had to disembark at all.
