Review summary

Halloween was fun onboard and a bit of a surprise at the number of costumes. Did not know in advance that there was to be a parade, contest and Halloween Party - shame.

On sea days the pool bars were just a bit slow.

The pool deck could be more exciting and the public areas could be more inviting, with more nooks and crannies to sit with friends and enjoy a drink smoke-free. Metropolis Bar smoking and the many photography set-ups make the City Lights area less desirable. Could use an updated layout.

Ship tip

Buy a Tervis tumbler at Red Frog or Blue Iguana and use that if you have the drink package. Keeps the drinks cold.

The beach and snorkeling are great and it is very clean and inviting. Big disappointment is that the Cheers drink package is not honored, so you have to purchase any alcoholic drinks.

Such a shame that you can't easily find a nice beach to enjoy without paying more money to a hotel or Atlantis. Getting to Junkanoo Beach is not fun, and it is a bit sketchy (as is anything outside the main drag). Just not as clean and welcoming a port as you might like. Better off staying onboard.
